WINTER FOOD AID

We are now collecting money to help provide potatoes, pasta, cooking oil and sugar for the poor families in Moldova. As the price of food increases here so it has increased in Moldova pushing more people in to real poverty. If you would like to help please donate to this project.

CEEM/NIAB Mold-Agri

The team have consolidated the project in helping to establish better ways to provide robust food production and help the local people survive the usually cruel winters and unpredictable summer weather. Work this year will concentrate in raising soil fertility in a natural and sustainable way. Sponsorship by NIAB will allow some of the on-going field crop and vegetable evaluations to continue. This project seeks to help them help themselves and NIAB is well placed to take part in this task providing much needed technical expertise and resources.

We have also continue to build the links in the school in Burlacu and started new links with a school in Taraclia in Moldova that we established on our latest trip..

We have also built on our work with Medical centres in these villages and are planning to continue this work, and a basic plan for expanding this we be our next goal.

We are looking at ways to help with the water supply and laying of pipes and to help them have a constant and reliable supply of water.
